Time is...

Hi Everyone,

Guess you've noticed that things have been kinda quiet around here. Well, it's not for lack of activity... it's just that... well, how many times can you say that life is good? But Pops has been posting photos of moi, so I hope you're enjoying those. As for me, well, I am suffering from a bit of writer's block, that's all.

I hope you are all getting ready for the Holidays and have a great year to look forward to. Pops is working on a new book about me, based on this blog. Yes, this very blog! And, like the blog, it'll have lots of photos, so he's been kinda busy too. Doesn't mean we don't love you anymore! We have so enjoyed sharing our lives with you over the past months and will definitely be sharing more in the future.

Remember a Day in November

Pops and I love this time of year - yeah, November - sun, rain, clouds, wind... all in one day! So fresh, so invigorating. And the best part is coming home after a romp on the beach and sleeping inside!

Roaming Hill 88

Pops said to me a long time ago, "Nikki, if you're a good boy, we can have so much fun together." Now that I'm older, I finally understand. He wanted me to go off leash and hang out with him without him having to worry about me wandering off and not coming back, or not coming when he calls. Well, I don't do any of that anymore, 'cause I really love him and he trusts me more now too. Guess it works both ways.

Today we went up to Hill 88. Pops rode his bike without the Springer, and I just followed or, when I wander off just a little bit, I always caught up to him. At the top, he sat and meditated, while I explored and found a tennis ball! As usual, he took a bunch of pictures. On the way down, he went so fast I could barely keep up, even while running as fast as I could! He waited for me at different turns in the road, and sometimes he gave me water. We had a great time!
